A secret Booking.com won't rush to tell you

The price keeps moving after you've booked.

The hotel you booked yesterday for $1,850 can show up tomorrow at $1,610. Booking.com reprices several times a day based on demand, day of the week, weather and availability. But once you've booked, nobody bothers to tell you.

1

Most rooms come with free cancellation

On Booking.com, the vast majority of rooms can be cancelled at no cost until 24–72 hours before check-in. Check your booking details, it's written in black and white.

2

If the price dropped, cancel and rebook

It's completely legitimate. Booking.com itself recommends it in some cases. You cancel, book the same dates again at the lower price, and the difference stays in your pocket.

3

We do the work for you

Instead of checking Booking.com by hand every couple of days, we check the price automatically and email you the moment it drops. You just click "Rebook".

The average saving on a 3+ night stay is 8–20%. On a $1,600 hotel that's $130–320 left on the table if nobody checks.

How it works

Two scenarios, one system. Which one is yours?

Already booked?

Track the price of your existing booking

  1. Paste the hotel link from your Booking.com confirmation email and pick the dates you booked.
  2. We automatically compare the current price with the price you paid.
  3. The moment it drops, you get an email. Cancel the booking (free), rebook at the lower price.
Not booked yet?

Catch the right moment to book

  1. Find a hotel you like on Booking.com, copy the link.
  2. We watch the price and availability around the clock, roughly every hour.
  3. Price dropped or a room opened up? You get an email right away, with a direct booking link.

Frequently asked questions

Mostly the ones people ask us before signing up.

Cancel the existing booking and rebook the same room for the same dates, this time at the lower price. If the room came with free cancellation, this costs you nothing. Booking.com refunds you in full, and you make a new booking.
Open your existing booking on Booking.com (My Bookings). Under the cancellation policy it says explicitly "Free cancellation until date X". If it says "Non-refundable" or lists a cancellation fee, there's nothing to do. Most rooms on Booking.com do come with free cancellation.
Yes, completely. If you book through the link we send, Booking.com pays us a small commission, at no extra cost to you. That's what lets us keep the service free for the community.
Roughly every hour, automatically. A meaningful price change reaches you within about an hour.
Only when the price drops by at least 5% from the lowest price we've seen so far. That way you're not flooded with updates about tiny moves that aren't worth cancelling and rebooking for. There's also a 6-hour cooldown between alerts for the same tracker, so you don't get 4 emails about the same drop.
Your email address, the hotel link and the dates, that's all. No passwords, no account, no phone number, no credit card. You can delete all your trackers in one click from the "My trackers" page.
No. No confirmation email, no newsletters. You only hear from us when there's something to report: a price that dropped or a room that opened up. That's it.
The service works with any hotel that has a page on Booking.com. Just copy the URL of the hotel page.
